Signature Mini Sessions FAQ

To book a Signature Mini Session, visit our website and navigate to the webpage for the mini session you’re interested in booking. You will need to fill out a brief questionnaire, accept the Terms of Service and pay a nonrefundable retainer to reserve your spot.

Each Santa Mini Session includes a set number of digital images (5 or 15), depending on your chosen collection. For Santa and Holiday sessions, the 5-image collection includes a complimentary wood ornament, with the option to upgrade to a metal ornament for an additional $15. The 15-image package includes a wood or metal ornament as part of the collection. For those who prefer no ornament, we now offer a 5-image collection without an ornament for $129. Additional ornaments can be purchased for $35 each. Please note that ornaments are not included in the Fall sessions.

Santa and Holiday sessions are priced higher due to the unique setup, themes, and special attention involved. These sessions require additional resources, such as a custom-designed set, professional Santa and Mrs. Claus, and other festive elements that make the experience more immersive and exclusive. The pricing reflects these special features, as well as the additional coordination required to create the perfect holiday atmosphere for your photos.

A 50% nonrefundable retainer is required to secure your booking for any Signature Mini Session. This retainer covers part of the session fee and ensures that your spot is reserved. Due to the personalized nature of photography services, this retainer is nonrefundable, even in the event of cancellation. The remaining balance is due 5 days before the session.

Each session allows up to 5 people for the 5 digital package and up to 8 people for the 15 digital package. If you wish to include more participants, an additional charge of $25 per person applies. Please note that additional participants do not include extra digital images, but you can purchase additional digitals separately.

Fall sessions are 25 minutes long, allowing us to capture the best moments in a concise period. Santa and Holiday sessions are shorter at 15 minutes, designed to capture the festive spirit in a quick, fun way. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure we can start promptly.

If the weather is not suitable for your outdoor session (e.g., rain, extreme temperatures), we will reschedule your session to the designated rain date, with the same time slot. You will be notified if a weather-related change is necessary. If no rain date is available for your session type, we will work with you to find another solution. No rain dates will be available for Santa Minis.

Yes, you can cancel or reschedule your session, but we require at least 48 hours' notice to avoid any charges. If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, the retainer fee will be forfeited. If you reschedule with proper notice, the retainer will be applied to the new session date. For Santa sessions, rescheduling is only possible to the available dates offered for booking.

If you are running late for your session, we will do our best to accommodate you, but please note that the session will be shortened to fit within the scheduled time. The full session fee is still due, as our time slots are limited and we cannot extend the session for delays.

After your session, you’ll be invited to a portrait viewing for fall mini sessions, where you can select your digital images. You’ll have the opportunity to choose your favorite 5 or 15 images, depending on your collection, and review any additional print or product options available. For Santa Minis, your images will be delivered directly to you—no portrait viewing required.

For Fall sessions, your digital images will be available approximately 1 to 2 weeks after the portrait viewing. For Santa and Holiday sessions, digital images are usually available shortly after the session. We strive to get your images to you as soon as possible while maintaining our high-quality standards.

While you are welcome to print your photos at any lab of your choice, we recommend using a high-quality lab for the best results. For prints larger than 8x10, the image quality and color accuracy may degrade. To ensure the best results, you can order prints through us directly, and we’ll make sure they meet our high standards. We cannot guarantee the quality or color accuracy of prints produced by third-party labs.

The photos you receive from your session are for personal use only, which includes sharing with friends and family, and printing for personal enjoyment. Any commercial use of the photos, such as selling, licensing, or using them for promotional purposes, requires written consent from Studio 21 Photography.

However, as photography is an artistic service, the final images will reflect the distinctive style and creative direction of Studio 21. While we are happy to make minor adjustments to images upon request, we cannot guarantee that the photos will match specific examples provided. We will always aim to meet your expectations while delivering images consistent with our professional artistic style. Due to the nature of this personalized service, refunds are not offered.

Yes! While the session fee includes only the digital images and ornament (if applicable), you are welcome to order prints, albums, or other products to showcase your images. We offer a range of premium options for print products and can help guide you in selecting the best products to complement your photos.
