We recommend in the spring of your junior year to secure peak summer and autumn dates, as slots fill very quickly. For Family portraits, booking 4–6 weeks in advance is ideal, especially if you are aiming for peak autumn colors or holiday card deadlines.

We believe your portraits deserve to live in print rather than forgotten on a storage drive. We operate on a boutique hybrid model. All portrait experiences include a creative session fee and a built-in print credit. You can use your print credit toward canvas wraps, wall art, or heirloom albums. Every physical portrait purchase includes its corresponding full-resolution digital file. We do not offer digital only sessions or packages.

Absolutely! You are never locked into pre-packaged bundles. During your private Ordering Appointment (scheduled about 2 weeks after your session), you will view your finished images on screen and choose only what you love. You buy only what you want, from portrait boxes to complete wall galleries.

Sessions take place either outdoors on-location or at our studio in downtown Independence, Iowa. During your Creative Consult, we will discuss your style, wardrobe, and vision to select the perfect locations — whether that's a rustic field, an urban setting, or a clean, modern studio look.
