Great question! When we refer to "locations" in a session, we mean specific spots within a city or area where we'll shoot. If your collection includes four locations, we might explore a vibrant downtown street, a park with beautiful scenery, a unique building, a spot along the waterfront, or even in-studio – all within the same city! This lets us get the most variety and style out of your senior session.

Split + Signature Experiences: We'll travel to any location within 75-miles of our studio with no additional fees.

Destination Experiences: We frequently travel to popular destinations like Des Moines, Dubuque, Decorah, Moline, and others within 125-miles of our studio at no extra cost.

Professional hair and makeup services are included in all on-location senior experiences for girls. For guys, instead of hair and makeup services, we offer an $80 print credit. To ensure your best look, we recommend getting a haircut (if needed) at least one week prior to your session. Please skip the spray tan, as it often doesn't photograph naturally.

Absolutely! Props that represent your hobbies, interests, or achievements, like musical instruments, sports gear, or art supplies, can add a unique and personal touch to your photos.

We understand that weather can be unpredictable, especially for outdoor sessions. We offer flexible rescheduling options and closely monitor weather forecasts.

Sometimes, a change in weather can offer a unique backdrop for your portraits. If you're open to it, we can discuss utilizing the weather conditions creatively to capture some truly unique images.

About two weeks after your session, we'll invite you back to the studio to view your portraits and choose your favorites. We'll be there to help you select the perfect pieces and discuss display options.

There's no minimum order, but a deposit is required to confirm your selections. The deposit amount is 25% for orders under $1,500 and 50% for orders over that amount. We offer flexible payment plans for the remaining balance and accept cash, check, or card for your deposit.

You'll have 30 days to finalize your selections and approve proofs. Once your order is complete and payment is received, prints will be ready within 2-4 weeks depending on current workload and lab processing times.

Local clients (within 50 miles of the studio) receive complimentary pickup or delivery. For those farther away, we offer personal delivery at a standard rate, or shipping options depending on your location. Digital images will be available online after you've received and approved your physical prints.

After your session, please allow 2-4 weeks for processing your images. If you've ordered print products, the timing may vary based on the type of product and the lab's workload. We strive to deliver your images quickly while ensuring each portrait meets our high-quality standards. Digital images will be accessible via an online gallery after you've received and approved the physical prints.

You are free to print your photos up to 8x10 and share them on social media. However, commercial use (like for advertisements or resale) requires prior agreement. Please contact us if you have specific requests or questions about usage rights.

You can order more digitals, with a combined limit of 40 in your collection. For instance, if your collection already includes 15 digitals, you can order up to 25 more.

Yes, all portraits are retouched and edited before being printed and delivered. During the portrait viewing session, most images will be color corrected, with a select few receiving our full signature edits to showcase. We focus on polishing only the portraits you love, ensuring you're as thrilled with the results as we are.
