To secure your session, a 50% nonrefundable retainer is required at booking to secure your spot on our calendar. The remaining balance is due three days prior to your session. We offer various payment options, including credit cards and checks, for your convenience. Our pricing is transparent, and we ensure that you are well-informed about your investment in these irreplaceable memories.

Great question! When we refer to "locations" in a session, we mean specific spots within a city or area where we'll shoot. If your collection includes four locations, we might explore a vibrant downtown street, a park with beautiful scenery, a unique building, and a spot along the waterfront – all within the same city! This lets us get the most variety and style out of your senior session.

We want to make capturing your memories as convenient as possible! Here's how our travel policy works:

Split + Signature Experiences: We'll travel to any location within 75-miles of our studio with no additional fees.

Destination Experiences: We frequently travel to popular destinations like Des Moines, Dubuque, Decorah, Moline, and others within 125-miles of our studio at no extra cost.

We understand that weather can be unpredictable, especially for outdoor sessions. We offer flexible rescheduling options and closely monitor weather forecasts.

Sometimes, a change in weather can offer a unique backdrop for your portraits. If you're open to it, we can discuss utilizing the weather conditions creatively to capture some truly unique images.

About two weeks after your session, we invite you to join us at our studio for a portrait viewing. The session begins with a presentation of three standout moments enhanced with our signature style. This is your opportunity to select your favorite photos, and we’ll be there to guide you in choosing the perfect ways to display them.

Following your portrait viewing, we place your order that same night, securing the pricing for you. While we offer a wide range of products, from gift prints to luxurious fine art pieces, please note that there's no obligation to order beyond what you want. Although gift prints have a minimum order of ten, there is no mandatory minimum spend for your order overall.

You will then have a full 30 days to make your selections for each product. After finalizing your order (which includes submission of order forms, approval of proofs, and payment of invoices), prints will be ready for pickup or delivery within 2-4 weeks, subject to our current workload and lab processing times. We'll be in touch to coordinate the pickup or delivery details.

For local clients within a 50-mile radius of our studio, we offer complimentary pickup or personal delivery of your portraits. For clients outside this radius, we provide personal delivery at a standard rate, and various shipping options are available depending on your location. Digital images will be accessible via an online gallery after you've received and approved the physical prints.

After your session, please allow 2-4 weeks for processing your images. If you've ordered print products, the timing may vary based on the type of product and the lab's workload. We strive to deliver your images quickly while ensuring each portrait meets our high-quality standards.
